Another set of photos of the same event : 1969 1000 km of the Nurburgring. Those ones were taken by Lennart's friend, Hans GUSTAFSSON.

By the way here is what the gang looked like back then :

Despite sunny weather and absence of snow , it's sweden !

Our two adventurers did things the right way : german rear engine and rear wheel drive car for Ring purpose.

 

As you will see, Hans' Job is more focused on the cars than on the track, but anyway it is quite easy to recognise our Nordschleife :-)

And it's a real pleasure to watch all the details of those amazing bodies : endurance prototypes of this period are probably among the cutest cars ever designed. Well, there is a Cobra too ...
